Take your dancing to the next level by joining one of our Buffalo Salsa Dance Performance Teams.

Led by Fráylin Olivares and Fanny Olaya, our teams are designed for dancers who want to grow beyond social dancing and experience the excitement of training, performing, traveling, and competing together.

Fráylin Olivares is a professional salsa and bachata dancer based in New York City, a member of the internationally recognized Latin Soul Dancers, and an instructor at Empire Mambo Dance Studio. With years of performance and teaching experience, he brings high-level training and performance standards to the Buffalo dance community.

Team members train through structured rehearsals focused on:

• Salsa choreography and musicality
• Partnerwork precision and connection
• Performance quality and stage presence
• Formation work and team synchronization
• Drilling and conditioning to sharpen technique

Our teams regularly perform at local Buffalo events and socials, while also traveling to represent our community at regional and international salsa festivals and competitions. Upcoming performances include events such as Canada SBK Festival in Toronto, along with other dance festivals throughout the year.
